Disclaimer:
Sorry Team Twerp are in it quite a lot, I hate their guts so tried to make it
humiliating for them, I might have failed miserably though! Oh well, hope you
enjoy it anyway. Oh, and by the way I don’t own any of the characters apart
from Janie Jouner, the male police officer, Janie’s
land – lord, the annoying guy by the river and all of the hospital staff.
Chapter
1
Jessie
smiled down at her pay cheque, it had come straight from Team Rocket head quarters where
her boss spent most of his time. While the thieves he hired did all the dirty
work for him.
Jessie’s
smile grew even wider when she saw she had somehow got a bonus.
“Yes”
she screamed, “James” she ran round the flat she and James had been sharing for
about six months looking for him. Unable to find him she flopped down on the
sofa and began wondering where he had got to, she hadn’t heard him leave.
Bored, she stared at her reflection in the TV. She saw her hair sprawled out
behind her and brushing in back into the position she wanted it she picked up
the phone.
“Jess,
are you home?” came a voice from the hall. James plonked
his coat on the floor and entered the room where Jessie was on the phone.
“Oh,
thank you, Bye” she said as she placed the receiver back in it’s
cradle.
“Who
was that?” James muttered as he sat on the arm of the sofa closest to her feet.
“James,
my pay cheque has just come through”
“And
mine hasn’t, oh great!”
“So
I’ve booked us a table as the most posh restaurant in town, my pay cheque was big” she gloated, “I thought we could have a
night where we at least felt rich!” He looked at her with a look of utter
disbelief and horror on his face,
“You
did what?” he shouted, “you’re not serious,”
“Yeah”
At that moment, when James opened his mouth to say
something else he ended up falling backwards off the arm of the sofa and
hitting his head hard on the door frame as he reached the floor. Jessie
flinched as she heard the crack of his head against the door and he let out a
cry of pain. He stumbled to his feet and seeing Jessie laughing at him left the
room in shame.
James
sat solemnly in a darkened restaurant pushing him peas back and forth on the
plate in front of him. The girl sitting opposite him was mirroring his actions,
her peas doing 100 laps up and down her plate.
“This
is boring, Jessie” James whined at he reached for his beer and took a small
sip.
“Tell
me about it” she answered him in a similar tone “I’m never doing this again.”
“Good.”
It was then a load bang filled the restaurant and Jessie felt herself being
thrown through the air, then she felt a sharp pain pass throw her body and then
she felt nothing.
